PUMPKIN PIE CUPCAKES
STEP 1:
Combine 1 part dark brown fondant, 5 parts orange fondant and 5 parts white fondant to create a pumpkin pie color.
STEP 2:
Roll out the fondant about ¼” thick and cut out a circle.
STEP 3:
(clockwise) To make the shape of a slice of pie, make a diagonal cut on the top left side of the circle and then a horizontal cut about a ¼ way up from the bottom. Lastly, score a horizontal line in the middle of the slice of pie.
STEP 4:
For the pie crust, create a tan color by mixing 1 part dark brown fondant and 5 parts white fondant.
STEP 5:
For the bottom crust, take a small amount of the tan colored Fondant and form a skinny log. Use your pointer finger to slightly flatten the log so it looks like a long skinny rectangle. Attach this to the bottom edge of the slice of pie and slightly up the edge so its matches up with the horizontal line in the middle of the slice.
STEP 6:
For the top crust, take a small amount of the tan colored fondant and form a skinny log. Scrunch the log so that it looks like crimped pie crust. Attach this upright to the top edge of the slice of pie.
STEP 7:
For the whipped cream dollop, form a small skinny log out of white fondant and scrunch it up into a triangle shape so that the bottom is wider than the top. Attach this to the top of the pie.
STEP 8:
For the face, roll two very small balls of black Fondant. Attach each ball to the bottom half for the pie. Slightly press down on each ball with your pointer finger to form them into circles. Add two small specs of white Fondant on left side of the left eye and the right side of the right eye. Using a very small amount of black fondant. Form a very skinny string of fondant and form it into a “u” shape for the smile.

ACORN CUPCAKES
STEP 1:
Combine 1 part dark brown, 4 parts white to create a light brown color.
STEP 2:
Roll out fondant ¼” thick and cut out a circle. To make the shape of the acorn, use your fingers to taper one side of the circle so the circle turns into a tear drop.
STEP 3:
(clockwise) Roll out dark brown 1/8” thick and cut out a circle. Cut the circle in half horizontally and then attach it to the top portion of the acorn.
STEP 4:
(clockwise) Score diagonal lights across the dark brown. Then score horizontal lines. Form a small ball of dark brown Fondant and attach it to the top of the acorn.
STEP 5:
For the eyes, form two very small balls of black Fondant and place them in the center on the light brown part of the acorn. Lightly press down on each one with your pointer finger to form them into circles. Add two small specs of white Fondant on left side of the left eye and the right side of the right eye. Using a very small amount of black fondant. Form a very skinny string of fondant and form it into a “u” shape for the smile.

PUMPKIN CUPCAKES
STEP 1:
Roll out orange Fondant about ¼” thick and cut out a circle.
STEP 2:
To make the shape of the pumpkin, use your finger to make a slight indent at the top of the circle. Then use the backside of your knife to score a curved line on the left and right side of the pumpkin.
STEP 3:
(clockwise) For the stem, create a tan color of fondant by mixing 1 part white Fondant and ½ part dark brown Fondant. Take a small amount of the tan fondant and form it into a short stem and attach it to the indent at the top of the pumpkin.
STEP 4:
Create a light green color by mixing 1 part white and ½ part green.
STEP 5:
(clockwise) For the leaf and the vines, form 3 small skinny logs and spiral each. Then roll a small ball of the light green Fondant and taper it at one end creating a cone shape. Slightly flatten the cone shape with your finger to transform it into a leaf shape. Use your knife to score a line down the center of the leaf. Attach the vines and the leaf around the pumpkin stem.
STEP 6:
For the eyes, form two very small balls of black Fondant and place them in the center on the light brown part of the acorn. Lightly press down on each one with your pointer finger to form them into circles. Add two small specs of white Fondant on left side of the left eye and the right side of the right eye.
