Step 1
To make the hat: Roll some red ChocoPan covering chocolate into a ball, then form it into a cylinder shape.
Step 2
For the base of the hat: Roll out a small amount of red ChocoPan covering chocolate and cut out a circle with the 4 1/2 cm circle cutter.
Step 3
To form the top hat: Place the cylinder shape in the middle of the circle.
Step 4
To make the ribbon: Roll out a small amount of blue ChocoPan covering chocolate and cut a strip that is about 1/8 inch wide and 3 1/2 inches long.
Step 5
Wrap the blue strip around the base of the cylinder shape and trim off any excess.
Step 6
To make the stripes for the hat: Roll out a small amount of bright white ChocoPan covering chocolate and cut 8 stripes that are about 1 1/4 inches long and 1/8 of an inch wide.
Step 7
Place the stripes vertically around the top hat above the blue ribbon and trim where they meet the top of the hat.
Step 8
Roll out a small amount of bright white ChocoPan covering chocolate and cut out 8 stars.
Step 9
Adhere the stars on the blue ribbon around the base of the top hat in between each white stripe.
