- Cut, vein, wire and thin the edges of 5 petals made from light pink gum paste.
- Wrap 10 yellow stamens together with floral tape on a 20-gauge wire.
- Use floral tape to attach each petal to the blossom center that was made in step 2.
- Continue wrapping the other petals for a total of 5.
- Dust the center of the finished blossom with a medium pink petal dust.
- Wrap the wires of the blossom center and petals together with brown floral tape to create the look of a branch.
- Next, cut and wrap various pieces of 24-gauge wire with brown floral tape.
- Combine two wrapped pieces of wire (different lengths), bend them into a natural position and wrap them together with brown floral tape.
- Continue to add more pieces of wrapped wire to create a realistic branch.Bend the stem of the blossom and wrap the stem onto the branch with brown floral tape.
