Step 1: For the body: form a cone shape out of black modeling chocolate, push a toothpick into the center to add stability for the structure of the panda.

Step 2: For the head: form a ball out of white modeling chocolate and use ball tool to push in the sockets for the eyes.

Step 3: For the eyes: push black modeling chocolate into the sockets with the ball tool, then layer small balls of white and black modeling chocolate.

Step 4: For the mouth: with white modeling chocolate, form a small oval and attach it to the head. Use a toothpick to add a smile to the white oval. Then for the nose, layer on a small black ball of modeling chocolate to the top portion of the white oval.

Step 5: Create the ears by forming 2 small balls of the modeling chocolate. Slightly flatten each one to form circles and cut off a small portion of each circle to have a straight edge. Attach each ear with the straight edge down to the top of the panda’s head.

Step 6: Attach the head to the body of the panda, and place a small flat white oval on the pandas belly.

Step 7: To create the arms and legs: roll 4 small balls of black modeling chocolate and roll them on one side to taper them on one end. Attach the tapered ends to the pandas body.

Step 8: Add paws to the panda’s arms and legs by pushing small balls of white modeling chocolate onto each arm and leg.

Step 9: To create bamboo: roll a small log of green modeling chocolate. Use a toothpick to score lines. Place the bamboo in between the panda’s arms.
