To cover the cupcake: Roll out green Satin Ice fondant and cut out a circle using a 2 ¾ inch cutter.
Make seven 1 cm balls with bright green Satin Ice fondant.
To form the caterpillar body: place the bright green balls on top of the cupcake in a curved line.
Roll out a small amount of pink Satin Ice fondant and cut out a flower using an 8 mm plum flower cutter.
To create the butterfly: Use the cutting tool to cut one petal from the flower leaving a V shape, then lightly fold flower and place in between the first two balls on the cupcake.
Roll out white Satin Ice fondant and cut out 3 flowers using the ¾ inch daisy cutter.
One at a time, place the flower on the foam pad and curl each petal with the ball tool, then make three ½ cm balls out of Satin Ice yellow fondant and press them in the center of each daisy, then place them around the caterpillar.
To make the eyes, use a black edible marker and draw two dots on the first bright green ball.
