About Christine Kerr
Christine started her career in cake back in 1985 after finishing school. She was fortunate to be offered a job to train as a cake decorator, and this opportunity ignited a passion that continues to this day.
Over the years she trained and specialized in all areas of cake including fondant, butter cream, pastry and chocolate. After mastering these styles, Christine ran her very own successful cake business for 18 years. At that time she also was demonstrating and teaching all over Australia - which she continues to do to this day at The Raspberry Butterfly.
Christine loves to share her knowledge and skills of cake decorating and particularly enjoys seeing her students master a technique they didn’t realize they could do. But most of all, she feels very fortunate to be working in an industry that she loves.
